Materials and construction
The 44-2600 trousers are built from carefully selected split cowhide with a guaranteed thickness of at least 1 mm. This material forms a solid protective barrier against hot metal spatter, UV radiation and the high temperatures typical of MIG/MAG and MMA processes. The whole garment is sewn with very strong 3-ply twisted DuPont™ KEVLAR® thread, which resists burning through and abrasion and keeps the seams intact even in the toughest conditions. To maximise service life, all key points exposed to tearing are additionally reinforced with metal rivets.
Safety and certification
The Golden Brown™ 44-2600 welding trousers are certified to EN ISO 11611:2015, Class 2/A1+A2. Class 2 is the highest level of protection provided for welding clothing, intended for heavy work with a lot of spatter and intense radiant heat. By choosing this product, you can be confident that your safety is confirmed by rigorous tests at the recognised certification body TÜV, a hallmark of the Weldas brand.
