TIGER TIG 200 DC HF PULS inverter welder
The TIGER TIG 200 DC HF PULS inverter welder is built on modern MOFSET technology. This machine welds by two processes: MMA welding with covered electrodes on direct current (DC) and TIG DC/TIG DC PULS welding. Being able to pick the process means the machine covers more jobs. The TIGER TIG 200 DC HF PULS inverter welder was designed for welding with rutile and basic electrodes up to 4 mm in diameter, and for welding with tungsten electrodes under an inert gas shield. It does well on various steels (acid resistant, carbon and stainless) and on non-ferrous metals (titanium or copper), brass and aluminium excepted.
TIGER TIG 200 DC HF PULS inverter welder, a machine with many functions
The TIGER TIG 200 DC HF PULS inverter welder has a clear digital welding current display. The machine offers a choice of three TIG modes:
- work without pulse
- work with a high frequency pulse (50-200Hz)
- work with a low frequency pulse (0.5-2Hz)
In the TIG process the gas flow after the arc goes out can be set, while the useful TIG DC PULS function controls the weld and prevents burn-through on a thin part less than 1.5mm thick. The arc is struck without contact (TIG HF). The TIGER TIG 200 DC HF PULS inverter welder also has a red LED that signals the machine shutting down on overload.
TIGER TIG 200 DC HF PULS inverter welder and MMA welding
The machine has several functions that make MMA welding easier. They are:
- ARC FORCE (arc dynamics): it shortens the arc as the welding current rises, which improves droplet transfer from the melting electrode to the workpiece and stops the arc going out when the electrode touches the material
- HOT START (hot start): it raises the welding current while the arc is being struck so the electrode ignites more easily
- ANTI STICK: it limits the welding current to stop the electrode sticking to the workpiece
The TIGER TIG 200 DC HF PULS inverter welder is a strong choice for work on site and for repair jobs.
