What it is for
You need the cooling unit when you weld with a liquid-cooled TIG torch. In the water configuration of the Böhler price list 2026/27, the URANOS NX 2200 AC/DC works with the WU 1000 and an ST 3000 U/D 4 m torch. The URANOS NX 2200 AC/DC power source itself has a 1 x 115 V or 1 x 230 V supply in the price list. Liquid-cooled torches from our range for both machines are the ST 2500 and ST 3000 series, including FX, MP and DigiTig versions.

WU 1000 or WU 130?
Both have a 48 V DC supply, a 2.0 l tank, 8.8 kg weight and 480 x 190 x 180 mm dimensions. The WU 1000 has 0.6 kW and is for URANOS NX 2200 AC/DC and 2200 TLH. The WU 130 has 0.7 kW, a pressure switch and is for TERRA NX 270 TLH.
Is there a water filter for the WU 1000?
The price list does not name a filter for the WU 1000. Its block only contains CL10 coolant (18.91.008).
Does the WU 1000 fit URANOS NX 2700 or 3200 AC/DC?
No. For URANOS NX 2700/3200 AC/DC the price list provides the WU 2000.
How much coolant do I need?
The tank holds 2.0 l and a CL10 pack contains 10 kg of coolant, so one pack covers filling and later top-ups.
