What it is for
You add the cooling unit for welding with a liquid-cooled torch. In the water configurations of the Böhler price list 2026/27:
- URANOS NX 2700 AC/DC and 3200 AC/DC: WU 2000, GT 400 trolley, ST 3000 U/D 4 m TIG torch
- URANOS NX 3200 GSM: WF NX 4000 Smart feeder, 70 mm² 4 m liquid-cooled interconnection cable, WU 2000, GT 400 WF trolley, MT 440 W U/D 4 m MIG/MAG torch and ST 3000 U/D 4 m TIG torch
For the URANOS NX 3200 GSM with a separate wire feeder, the water configuration uses a liquid-cooled interconnection cable.

WU 2000 or WU 230?
Dimensions, 12.0 kg weight, the 3.0 l tank and 1.0 kW power are the same, but the WU 2000 has a 360 V DC supply and the WU 230 1 x 400 V AC. The WU 230 is listed for TERRA NX, the WU 2000 for URANOS NX 2700/3200 AC/DC and 3200 GSM; they are not interchangeable.
WU 2000 or WU 3000?
The WU 3000 is for URANOS NX 4000/5000 (AC/DC and GSM) and has 1.4 kW, a 5.5 l tank, 13.0 kg and 705 x 290 x 250 mm. For URANOS NX 2700/3200 the price list gives the WU 2000.
How much coolant do I need?
The tank holds 3.0 l and a CL10 pack contains 10 kg of coolant. One pack covers filling and top-ups.
