What it is for
All four TERRA NX SMC water configurations in the Böhler price list 2026/27 (320 and 400, Smart and SteelDrive) use the same set: WU 330 cooling unit, GT 500 trolley and liquid-cooled MT 440 W 4 m MIG/MAG torch. The gas configurations use the MT 350 G torch without a cooling unit. So you add the WU 330 when you move to a liquid-cooled torch: MT 440 W, MT 540 W or the PP Plus 401 D push-pull torch.

WU 330 or WU 430?
Both have a 5.5 l tank and measure 705 x 290 x 250 mm. The WU 430 has higher cooling power (1.25 kW versus 1.0 kW) and weighs 16.0 kg; the price list assigns it to TERRA NX 320/400 PMC and 400/500 PME. For SMC the price list gives the WU 330.
Does the WU 330 fit Smart and SteelDrive versions?
Yes. In the price list the WU 330 is part of the water configurations of TERRA NX 320 SMC Smart, 320 SMC SteelDrive, 400 SMC Smart and 400 SMC SteelDrive.
How much coolant do I need?
The tank holds 5.5 l and a CL10 pack contains 10 kg of coolant, so one pack is enough for filling.
