MT 440 W is a liquid-cooled Böhler Welding MIG/MAG torch with a 4 m cable assembly and Euro connector. It takes 0.8 to 1.6 mm wire and is rated 450 A with Ar/CO2 mixed gas and 500 A with CO2 at 100% duty cycle.
What it is for
A torch for long welds at high current: 450 A with mixed gas and 500 A with CO2 at 100% duty cycle. The liquid-cooled TERRA NX 320/400 SMC and TERRA NX 400/500 MSE sets ship with it, so you order it as a replacement or spare torch for these machines.
The torch needs a coolant circuit, so the machine must run with a cooling unit and coolant. If you weld close to the machine, consider the 3 m version (81.05.72812). To change settings from the handle, choose MT 440 W U/D.
