The RC 100 is a Böhler Welding remote control with digital CAN bus communication and a 40 m cable. According to the Böhler selection guide you set the welding current on it and read current and voltage without walking back to the machine.
What it is for
The remote moves current adjustment from the machine panel to your workplace. It helps when the power source stands several metres away from the joint: on large structures, inside tanks, on scaffolding. The magnetic hanging device lets you attach the remote to a steel part next to the joint. The 40 m version suits a cable route from the machine to your workplace of up to 40 m.

FAQ
What is the difference between RC 100 and RC 100 MP?
According to the price list both have the same functions, dimensions and weight. The RC 100 has a fixed cable length, while for the RC 100 MP you order a 6, 10 or 25 m CAN bus cable separately.
Does the RC 100 adjust welding voltage?
No. According to the selection guide, voltage adjustment is available on the RC 190, RC 200 and RC 350 MP. If you want to change both values on the remote for MIG/MAG, choose the RC 200.
Which cable length should I choose?
Measure the cable route from the machine to your workplace and add a reserve. The RC 100 comes in four versions: 6 m (71.02.196), 10 m (71.02.19601), 25 m (71.02.19604) and 40 m (71.02.19607).
