ArcDrive program for Union AlMg5 wire, 1.6 mm, with I1 shielding gas. This is classic MIG/MAG without pulse: short arc at lower currents and spray arc at higher ones.
What it is for
Each program covers one combination: wire, diameter, gas. You enter wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. Use it on aluminium, where stable wire feeding and a well-matched arc make a real difference. AlMg5 is used on aluminium-magnesium alloys.

How does ArcDrive differ from PulseDrive?
ArcDrive welds with short and spray arc, without pulse. PulseDrive adds pulsed arc and double pulse, which helps on thin sheet and in position. The PulseDrive version of this program: PulseDrive 1.6 mm, gas I1 (79.P1.10999).
Can I use another ER5356 wire?
The curves are tuned to Union AlMg5. For other brands of the same class the price list offers the Universal ARC line, here: ArcDrive AlMg5 (ER5356) 1.6 mm, gas I1 (79.S1.109).
