The ST 2200 FX DigiTig is a gas-cooled TIG torch, 8 m long, with a flexible neck in the DigiTig version. It takes electrodes from 0.5 to 4.0 mm and carries 180 A DC or 125 A AC at 35% duty cycle. The Böhler Welding price list assigns it to URANOS NX machines only.
What it is for
For TIG welding on URANOS NX machines when you need a flexible neck for vertical, overhead and tight positions. Check your machine model before ordering: for TERRA NX TLH the price list specifies U/D versions (ST 2200 U/D or ST 2200 FX U/D), not DigiTig. The shielding gas cools the torch, so no cooling unit is needed.

Does the ST 2200 FX DigiTig fit the TERRA NX 270 TLH?
The Böhler price list does not include it among the TERRA NX TLH accessories. For those machines choose the ST 2200 FX U/D 8 m: it has the same flexible neck, U/D buttons and the same ratings.
Which consumables fit the ST 2200 FX DigiTig?
Standard 17/18/26 series parts: collets 1.0 to 4.0 mm, collet bodies in the same sizes, ceramic nozzles from No. 4 (6.4 mm) to No. 12 (19 mm) and a long or short back cap. Match the collet and collet body to the electrode diameter.
4 m or 8 m?
The 8 m length gives you reach when you weld away from the machine, for example on a large structure, without moving it. For bench work the ST 2200 FX DigiTig 4 m is enough.
