The Cebora Prof 152 is an industrial plasma system with a cutting current up to 150 A, supplied from a 400 V three phase mains. The documentation gives severance cutting up to 45 mm in carbon steel and quality cutting advised up to 35 mm. The arc is struck by a high frequency system, so the start also works on rusty and painted material.
What this machine is for
This is a plasma for cutting carbon steel, aluminium and stainless steel in a workshop that cuts every day and cuts thick. On plate around 20 mm the system still works inside its working band, and the severance limit is 45 mm. If you want an edge ready for welding without extra work, stay at the advised 35 mm and below.
The documentation aims this model at steel structure prefabrication plants, at shipyards and at firms stripping out industrial installations. A current of 150 A is also enough for plasma gouging, that is taking faulty welds out of heavy structures before they are welded again. High frequency ignition helps in repair and demolition work, where the plate is often dirty, oily and coated.
Features and equipment
- Cutting current up to 150 A: a reserve of power for severance cutting of 45 mm and for gouging.
- Pilot arc HF ignition: a sure start on rusty, painted or dirty material.
- Liquid cooling of the torch to the documentation: the fluid circuit takes the heat from the torch in long cutting at maximum currents, and the documentation gives up to three times longer life of nozzles and electrodes than in air cooled systems.
- Plasma gouging: removing faulty welds and excess metal without a graphite electrode.

What to watch out for
The product card gives air cooling and the source description names an integrated liquid circuit, so confirm the setup before you buy. You need steady compressed air with an output of about 210 l/min at a pressure of 5 bar, so check the compressor, the tank and the dryer, because moisture in the line shortens the life of the nozzles. The supply is 400 V three phase, the machine needs a power socket.
The source description does not name a torch or cables, so ask about the contents of the set and about a stock of nozzles and electrodes. When you cut close to the limit of 45 mm the edge comes out rough, so for parts stay at 35 mm.
How we sell used machines
This unit was checked in our service workshop in Krotoszyn with measurements to PN-EN 60974-4 and a load test. The price includes the first year of the basic service package: an inspection with cleaning of the machine and a validation measurement. Further years can be added. We ship across the European Union, collection in person by appointment.
