Ideal Expert TIG 201 DC Pulse Pro3.5 LCD is a portable IGBT inverter welder for TIG and TIG Pulse welding and for MMA welding with coated electrodes, on direct current (DC). You use it on stainless steel, carbon and low-alloy steels, copper and titanium. It delivers 10 to 200 A from a 230 V supply and weighs 7 kg, so it suits the workshop and site work. Synergic control works in every process.

Features
Welding modes and pulse
You have TIG DC, TIG DC Pulse, MMA and MMA Pulse modes. With the pulse parameters you influence the weld shape and arc focus, and the lower heat input helps on thin material.
Ignition and torch trigger
You strike the arc without contact (HF) or by touch (LIFT). Choose LIFT where electromagnetic interference could disturb the surroundings. The torch trigger works in 2T, 4T (latch for long welds) or RPT, which switches between two current levels. With HF, spot welding (SPOT) is also available.
Synergic mode and SMART TIG
Synergic control works in every process. In SMART TIG mode you select the initial parameters, and the power source sets the output parameters to match.
LCD display
You set gas pre-flow and post-flow, start current, up-slope, welding current, base current, down-slope, end current, pulse width and frequency, the intermittent welding length, and HOT START and ARC FORCE. In the settings you change the screen brightness, the date and the fan mode (semi-passive SMART).
MMA and construction
HOT START supplies a higher current at ignition, ARC FORCE keeps the arc from going out, and ANTI STICK cuts the voltage when the electrode sticks. You connect the torch to the gas with a quick coupler, without tools. A fan cools the machine, and it has overload protection.
In the box
