The MIDI MIG 210/2 from MAGNUM is a wire welding machine for manual electric welding of low carbon and low alloy steel (MAG), alloy steel (MIG) and aluminium and its alloys.
It can also weld with self shielded wire, FCAW (the polarity in the machine has to be changed: minus (-) on the torch, plus (+) on the earth lead), and in MMA with fusible covered electrodes.
It is intended for all kinds of welding work in metalworking shops, repair shops, industrial plants, factories and similar places.
The machine has stepless adjustment of the welding parameters and a thermal protection circuit that keeps it from overheating. It has a two roll wire feeder and automatic detection of the 230V/400V supply voltage.
The power source is built on IGBT transistors, which keep electromagnetic interference low, raise output and reliability, lower energy use and let the current follow changes in the welding parameters instantly.
