The Migatronic Flex 3000C is an inverter MIG/MAG welder with pulse and synergy, liquid cooled. You set the current from 15 to 300 A, at a 40% duty cycle the machine delivers 300 A, and at a 100% duty cycle it holds 220 A.
What this machine is for
Beside MIG/MAG the machine handles the covered electrode and TIG Lift, that is lift arc ignition, without an HF module. The range from 15 to 300 A goes down to thin sheet and is enough for typical workshop joints. For continuous work plan 220 A, because that is what the power source holds at a 100% duty cycle at 40 degrees Celsius.
The machine memory holds a base of synergic programs. You pick the wire type, the gas and the material thickness, and the system sets the voltage and the feed. The pulse puts the droplet transfer in order, so there is less spatter, and on aluminium and stainless steel you control the pool more easily. The maker aims this model at workshops making aluminium structures, for example bicycle frames and yacht fittings, at products from acid resistant stainless steel and at braze welding of body sheet with CuSi3 wire.

What to watch out for
The supply is 400 V, the description gives no fuse rating. Cooling runs on liquid, so you need a water cooled torch and a sound circuit: check the coolant level, the pump and the tightness of the quick couplings. The description does not list a torch or cables in the set, so confirm the contents before you buy. The description gives no weight and no dimensions, so arrange the transport before collection.

This unit was checked in our service workshop in Krotoszyn with measurements to PN-EN 60974-4 and a load test. The price includes the first year of the basic service package: an inspection with cleaning of the machine and a validation measurement. Further years can be added.
