SPARTUS® EasyMIG 217DP is a modern inverter based semi-automatic welder built on IGBT transistors. It handles: synergic MIG/MAG welding with double pulse, synergic MIG/MAG welding with pulse, MIG/MAG welding in synergic mode, MIG/MAG welding with manual settings, TIG Lift welding, MMA welding with covered electrodes. Because the welding polarity can be reversed, the machine also welds self-shielded flux cored wire without gas. The maximum welding current for MIG/MAG/TIG/MMA is 200A. The machine runs from a single phase 230V mains supply.
The modern LCD display makes setting the welding voltage and current quick and simple and gives access to the machine functions. While the parameters are corrected, the display shows how the bead shape relates to the voltage and marks the recommended material thickness for the selected current.
The EasyMIG 217DP runs wire in a diameter range of 0.8 - 1.2mm. Fitted with synergic programs, the machine still lets you correct the set parameters by hand. Another strong point is the option of welding with pulsed current. Double pulse in the MIG/MAG method gives a weld with a quality and a look close to the TIG method.
What double pulse in the MIG/MAG method brings:
- a clean, scaled bead face
- higher welding output than with the TIG method
- less heat distortion than with the TIG method
- welding aluminium asks less skill from the operator than the TIG method
For easier and more efficient work the EasyMIG 217DP carries functions that support the welding process, such as:
- 2T/4T, a choice between two operating modes (MIG/MAG),
- Inductance, welding inductance adjustment, control of bead width and penetration depth (MIG/MAG), less spatter,
- Spool Gun, a light and sturdy welding torch with a built in wire feeder and the spool in the handle (MIG/MAG),
- Hot Start, easier electrode ignition (MMA),
- Arc Force, easier welding in forced positions (MMA),
- VRD, reduction of the voltage (MMA).
The built in two roll feeder keeps wire delivery steady. Low weight and small dimensions make the EasyMIG 217DP a handy welding machine. Simple operation together with the advanced welding options make the EasyMIG 217DP a good fit for industrial plants and for workshops alike.
