SPARTUS® EasyMIG 330 DP is a modern inverter wire welder built on IGBT transistors. It welds with a consumable electrode under inert and active gases (MIG/ MAG), with a covered electrode (MMA) and in TIG Lift with the arc struck by scratching. On top of that, the polarity can be reversed, so the machine also welds self shielded wire without gas.
The maximum welding current for MIG/MAG / TIG is 300A, and for MMA it is 250A. The machine is supplied from a three phase 400V mains.
A modern LCD display makes it easy and quick to set the welding voltage and current and to manage the functions of the machine. While the parameters are being corrected, the display shows how the shape of the weld depends on the voltage and marks graphically the recommended material thickness for the chosen current.
EasyMIG 330 DP comes with synergic programs for MIG/MAG welding in the 0.8 -1.2 mm diameter range, with manual correction of the parameters available. Another strong point is welding with pulsed current (pulse/dual pulse). Double pulse in the MIG/MAG process gives a weld whose quality and appearance match the TIG process.
What double pulse in the MIG/MAG process gives you:
- a good looking weld face (scale effect)
- higher welding output than with TIG
- less thermal distortion than with TIG
- welding aluminium asks less skill from the operator than TIG does
To make work still easier and more efficient, EasyMIG 330 DP has functions that support the welding process, such as:
- 2T/4T, a choice of one of three operating modes (MIG/MAG)
- Inductance, welding inductance control, sets the width of the weld face and the depth of penetration (MIG/MAG) and limits spatter
- Slow Feed, a soft start of the wire feeder, useful above all when welding at high currents with high wire feed speeds
- Hot Start, easier striking of the electrode (MMA)
- Arc Force, easier welding in forced positions (MMA)
- VRD, reduced open circuit voltage (MMA)
The professional four roll feeder keeps the welding wire running steadily. A tough, compact build makes this a sound machine for hard conditions, with room for a gas cylinder on the chassis.
