SPARTUS ProMIG 5000 offers broad options for MIG/MAG welding, combining manual mode with an advanced synergic mode based on ready synergic programs. In MIG Synergy mode the machine actively supports the operator and suggests the best working parameters, such as material thickness and wire feed speed, which speeds up setup and makes work easier when production tasks change. At the same time you keep full control of the process thanks to manual correction of the parameters, so you can match the arc characteristic precisely to your own preference and to the material.

SPARTUS ProMIG 5000 offers extensive settings for the MIG/MAG process that go beyond the standard options of classic MIG/MAG welders. You have precise control over parameters such as gas pre-flow and post-flow time, burn back, and a gentle wire feed start (slow feed), which lets you prepare the process properly and limit weld defects.

The machine also lets you control arc dynamics through adjustment of the start and end current and the setting of the current slope up and slope down times. Such a wide adjustment range lets you match the welding characteristic to specific technical applications, raising weld quality, process stability and repeatability in series production.

Adjustment of the current slope down time and of the gas post-flow after welding lets you match the behaviour of the machine to the job. SPARTUS ProMIG 5000 is fitted with an external liquid cooling unit that extends what the machine can do under high loads. An important point is that it can be switched on or off, so the configuration can be matched to current needs. At lower currents the operator can use lighter gas cooled torches without activating liquid cooling, while at high parameters the cooling system keeps the components stable and protected.

The cooling unit also has a temperature monitoring screen, which allows current control of the working conditions and raises the safety of the whole welding process.
