Replacing the ADF filter Evolution V80 and batteries
- Lay the helmet face down and lift the headgear up to reach the filter.
- Push the spring-loaded tab on the bottom of the filter in with a finger and, while holding it, lift the filter upwards. The filter comes free of the hooks.
- The filter is connected by a cable to the GRIND button. Avoid any stress or pressure on the cable.
- The battery retainer Böhler Welding battery retainer Evolution V80, V80M sits on top of the filter and is accessed from the front. Pull it out by the groove and insert 2 CR2450 batteries Böhler Welding ADF battery CR2450 Guardian, Evolution Vision, Evolution V80, Laser Guard with the correct polarity.
- To refit, first engage the hooks on top of the filter, slide the filter into its frame and press it down until the tabs click.
Standards and certificates
Filter marking: 16321 VA W2.5 / 4-8 / 9-14 V1 CE. The filter complies with ISO 16321, with classification V1 + TIG to ISO 16321-2, and PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425. Not suitable for laser welding or oxy-acetylene gas welding.
