Replacing the ADF filter Evolution Vision 65F and battery
- Lift the flip-up element and rest the helmet chin up to expose the bottom of the filter.
- Slide the two locking tabs into the middle and pull the filter out gently.
- To change the CR2450 battery Böhler Welding ADF battery CR2450 Guardian, Evolution Vision, Evolution V80, Laser Guard, slide the battery cover upwards. Mind the polarity.
- Slide the filter back along the tabs into the flip-up element and slide both tabs outwards.
- This is a good moment to change the inner lens Böhler Welding inner lens Evolution Vision 65F, 65FM (2 pcs); remove it with the plunger Böhler Welding inner lens plunger Guardian, Evolution, Laser Guard (2 pcs.). At the front the filter is protected by the Böhler Welding front cover lens Evolution Vision 65F, 65FM, V80, V80M (5 pcs) lens.

Filter marking: CE 3/4-8/9-14 VA 1/1/1/1/379 EN379. Complies with EN 379:2003 + A1:2009 and PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425. The filter is not suitable for laser welding or oxy-acetylene gas welding.

Is a battery included?
No. The filter is sold without the CR2450 battery Böhler Welding ADF battery CR2450 Guardian, Evolution Vision, Evolution V80, Laser Guard. A new Evolution Vision 65 helmet comes with 1 spare battery in the box.
Can I fit the 65FM filter into a 65F helmet?
Yes. The manufacturer catalogue lists both filters, 87137 and 87135, for the 65F, 65FM, 65F Air and 65FM Air helmets. The 65FM filter adds the AUTO mode.
Does it fit the Evolution V80?
No. The Evolution V80 has a 124 x 80 mm viewing area and its own filter, Böhler Welding ADF auto-darkening filter Evolution V80.
How do I set the delay and sensitivity?
The DELAY button changes the delay, the SENSI button the sensitivity. Each press moves the setting up one step; after the last of the 6 steps it returns to the first.
When does the filter switch off?
Automatically after 30 minutes without use. You can also switch it off with the button.
