What it is for
Cored wire is a tube filled with flux: knurling grips it with less pressure, so the tube is not crushed. Replace it when you change wire or the groove wears.

How many rolls do I need?
SL 4R has four rolls (two driven on SL 4R-2T, four on SL 4R-4T). The price is for 1 pc.
Can it feed solid wire?
Solid wire needs smooth V rolls, e.g. 07.01.291. Knurling marks smooth wire.
