WF NX 330 Smart is an external wire feeder for the Böhler Welding TERRA NX 400 MSE and 500 MSE power sources. The SL 4R-2T drive has four rolls, two of them driven, and the 90 W motor feeds wire at 0.5 to 22 m/min. It connects to the power source with an interconnection cable and a digital CAN bus.
What it is for
- Solid wire 1.0 and 1.2 mm: rolls for these sizes are included.
- Aluminium or cored wire: order U-groove or knurled rolls for the SL 4R drive.
- Four driven rolls as on SteelDrive: upgrade kit 07.01.512.
- The Smart panel has digital setting, no LCD. The feeder takes liquid cooled and push-pull torches.

How does WF NX 330 Smart differ from WF NX 330 SteelDrive?
Smart: SL 4R-2T, 90 W, no LCD. SteelDrive: four driven rolls (SL 4R-4T), 120 W, LCD display and U/D connection. Housing and weight are the same: 660 x 280 x 390 mm, 13.0 kg.
Are cable and torch included?
No, they are separate items. For MSE the price list shows liquid cooled cables of 70 and 95 mm² from 1.5 to 30 m.
Can I connect it to TERRA NX 320/400 SMC?
SMC has a built-in feeder and the price list does not provide an external one for it. WF NX 330 Smart is assigned to TERRA NX 400/500 MSE.
