The ST 2500 FX DigiTig is a liquid-cooled TIG torch, 4 m long, with a flexible neck in the DigiTig version. At 100% duty cycle it carries 225 A DC and 160 A AC, and it uses small series 9/20 consumables. The Böhler price list assigns it to the URANOS NX 2200 AC/DC, URANOS NX 2200 MTE, URANOS NX 2200 TLH and URANOS NX 2700 MTE.
What it is for
When you work on one of these machines, weld long runs and need a flexible neck for vertical, overhead and tight positions. For the TERRA NX 270 TLH the price list specifies U/D versions, not DigiTig. The torch works with a cooling unit on the machine and CL10 coolant.

FAQ
Does the ST 2500 FX DigiTig fit the TERRA NX 270 TLH?
It is not among the TERRA NX 270 TLH accessories in the Böhler price list. For that machine choose the ST 2500 FX U/D 4 m with the same flexible neck and rating.
Do ST 3000 consumables fit the ST 2500 FX DigiTig?
No. The ST 2500 FX DigiTig uses small series 9/20 parts: collets from 0.5 to 3.2 mm, its own collet bodies, ceramic nozzles No. 4 to 10 and a long or medium back cap. Standard 17/18/26 parts have a separate compatibility list in the price list, without the ST 2500.
4 m or 8 m?
The 4 m length is enough at a bench or close to the machine, and the torch is easier to coil up. If you weld further from the power source, for example on a large structure, choose the ST 2500 FX DigiTig 8 m.
