The ST 4000 FX DigiTig is a liquid-cooled TIG torch, 8 m long, with a flexible neck in the DigiTig version. At 100% duty cycle it carries 350 A DC and 270 A AC and takes electrodes from 0.5 to 4.0 mm. The Böhler price list assigns it to URANOS NX machines only.
What it is for
When you weld long runs at high currents on a URANOS NX 2700/3200 AC/DC or URANOS NX 4000/5000 and need a flexible neck for vertical, overhead and tight positions. For the TERRA NX 320/400 TLH choose the ST 4000 FX U/D. The torch works with a cooling unit and CL10 coolant.

Does it fit the TERRA NX 400 TLH?
It is not among the TERRA NX TLH accessories in the Böhler price list. For that machine choose the ST 4000 FX U/D 8 m, which has the same flexible neck and rating.
Which consumables fit the ST 4000 FX DigiTig?
Standard 17/18/26 series parts: collets 1.0 to 4.0 mm, collet bodies in the same sizes, ceramic nozzles from No. 4 (6.4 mm) to No. 12 (19 mm) and a long or short back cap. Match the collet and collet body to the electrode diameter.
4 m or 8 m?
The 8 m length gives you reach when you weld away from the machine, for example on a large structure, without moving it. For bench work the ST 4000 FX DigiTig 4 m is enough.
