The Guardian Air filter cover is the side lid of the filter chamber on the Böhler Welding Guardian Air blower unit. Together with the spark arrestor it protects the filter from welding sparks, and when properly closed it snaps onto the unit.

Fitting and inspection of the Guardian Air filter cover
To change a filter, open the cover, replace the main filter, pre-filter or spark arrestor, and close the cover until it snaps in. Before work, check the cover for cracks; the manual says to replace damaged parts at once. Clean it with a cloth moistened with lukewarm water and soap, without solvents or abrasives.
