Guardian Air cleans ambient air but does not supply it: no work in tanks and ducts without ventilation, in air poorer in oxygen than 19.5 %, in explosive atmospheres or in strong wind.

Does Guardian Air fit my helmet?
It fits the helmets listed above, which have a face seal and a hose connector. For the Evolution V80 Air and V80M Air the manufacturer documents list certification only with Evolution Air, so choose the Böhler Welding Evolution Air PAPR blower unit, complete kit with filters for them.

How long does the battery last and how do I charge it?
The 5200 mAh battery lasts up to 8 h at the lowest level and 6 h at the highest. The universal charger charges it in 4 to 6 h; before first use, run the system until the battery is flat and charge it for 16 h. When does Guardian Air raise an alarm?
When the air flow drops below 170 l/min, the unit signals it with light and sound; a low battery is shown by a visual alarm. After an air flow alarm you stop work, leave the zone and check the pre-filter, the main filter and the battery.
