The RC 120 is a Böhler Welding foot pedal with a 6 m cable and digital CAN bus communication. According to the Böhler selection guide it has a start button, welding current adjustment and digital parameter adjustment. It weighs 2.2 kg and measures 260 x 125 x 160 mm.
What it is for
The pedal helps in TIG welding: you start welding and change the current with your foot while your hands hold the torch and the filler rod. During the weld you can add or reduce current with your foot, for example towards the end of the seam. The RC 120 is the only unit in the selection guide with a start button. It has no display, so you check the current on the machine.

Does the RC 120 fit CORE 185 TIG or CORE 210 TIG?
It is not listed as a CORE accessory. For these machines the price list gives the wired RC 18 and the wireless WRC-B.
Does the RC 120 have a display?
No. In the Böhler selection guide the pedal has a start button, welding current adjustment and digital parameter adjustment, without a display or value readout.
Is there a version with a longer cable?
In the Böhler price list 2026/27 the RC 120 is only available with a 6 m cable (71.02.197).
Pedal or hand remote?
Choose the pedal when you want to start welding and change current with your foot. If you only need to correct current at a distance and start welding with the torch button, choose a remote such as the RC 100 or RC 200.
