The ST 4000 DigiTig is a liquid-cooled TIG torch, 8 m long, in the DigiTig version. At 100% duty cycle it carries 350 A DC and 270 A AC and takes electrodes from 0.5 to 4.0 mm. The Böhler price list assigns it to the URANOS NX 2700/3200 AC/DC, URANOS NX 4000/5000 AC/DC and URANOS NX 4000/5000 GSM.
What it is for
For long welds at high currents when you work further from the machine and have one of these URANOS NX models. For the TERRA NX 320/400 TLH the price list specifies the ST 4000 U/D or ST 4000 FX U/D, not DigiTig. The torch works with a cooling unit and CL10 coolant.

Is there a 4 m ST 4000 DigiTig?
In the Böhler 2026/27 price list the ST 4000 DigiTig comes in 8 m only. In 4 m you can choose the ST 4000 FX DigiTig 4 m with a flexible neck or the ST 4000 U/D 4 m.
How does it differ from the ST 4000 FX DigiTig?
The ratings are the same: 350 A DC and 270 A AC at 100%, and the same URANOS NX machines. The ST 4000 FX DigiTig 8 m also has a flexible neck you bend by hand in any direction.
Which consumables fit the ST 4000 DigiTig?
Standard 17/18/26 series parts: collets 1.0 to 4.0 mm, collet bodies in the same sizes, ceramic nozzles from No. 4 (6.4 mm) to No. 12 (19 mm) and a long or short back cap. Match the collet and collet body to the electrode diameter.
