The Evolution Vision 65F Air Kit pairs the Evolution Vision 65F Air helmet, where you set the shade manually in CUT and WELD modes, with the Evolution Air PAPR in a blue Evolution bag. The ADF has a 65 x 96 mm viewing area, UHD display and optical class 1/1/1/1 to EN 379; lift it and you work through a 180 x 90 mm grinding visor. The 180-240 l/min air supply reaches class TH3 to EN 12941 with P R SL filters and with A1B1E1 P R SL gas filters.

Who it is for
- MIG/MAG, TIG and MMA welding with grinding between passes: lift the filter and the 180 x 90 mm grinding visor is in front of you.
- Cutting and welding without changing helmets: you switch manually between CUT mode DIN 4-8 and WELD mode DIN 9-14.
- Work with gases and vapours as well as fume: with A1B1E1 P R SL filters this helmet stays in class TH3.
Not for laser or gas welding (acetylene). The Evolution Air manual prohibits use in enclosed, unventilated tanks, pipes and ducts, with less than 19.5 % oxygen, in explosive atmospheres and in strong wind.

65F Air Kit, 65FM Air Kit or Guardian 62F Air Kit?
The Böhler Welding Evolution Vision 65FM Air Kit, auto-shade welding helmet with Evolution Air PAPR is the same kit, where you pay extra for AUTO mode (the filter selects the shade itself) and a matt blue shell. The Böhler Welding Guardian 62F Air Kit, flip-up welding helmet with Evolution Air PAPR has the same blower unit, but a 62 x 98 mm ADF in class 1/1/1/2 and, with gas filters, class TH2 instead of TH3.
What do I charge the kit battery with?
The battery in the kit has a quick-charge function. A spare battery of the same type, the Böhler Welding heavy-duty quick-charge battery 7800 mAh Evolution Air, Guardian Air, is charged only with the Böhler Welding PAPR quick charger for the quick-charge battery Evolution Air, Guardian Air quick charger. The standard Böhler Welding heavy-duty battery 7800 mAh Evolution Air, Guardian Air battery charges in 8 to 9 h with the Böhler Welding universal PAPR charger Evolution Air, Guardian Air universal charger.
Does the helmet work with Guardian Air and compressed air?
Yes. The Evolution Vision 65F Air is certified with the Guardian Air unit (TH3 P R SL) and with the Böhler Welding Supplied Air compressed air regulator for air-fed helmets, complete kit regulator (class 4A to EN 14594). The helmet on its own is available as Böhler Welding Evolution Vision 65F Air flip-up welding helmet for PAPR powered air systems.
