The Guardian face seal fits the Guardian 50M Air, 50FM Air, 62 Air and 62F Air helmets with air supply and the Big Vision Air. It closes the space under the helmet so that the supplied air creates positive pressure and keeps contaminants out of the breathing zone.

Fitting and replacing the Guardian face seal

With the blower switched on, lower the helmet, pull the face seal with its tab under the chin and fit it around your face and chin. A beard or long hair along the seal line lowers the protection factor of the whole system. Replacement: remove the nuts and screws holding the face seal, fit the new one and gently tighten the screws and nuts. Inspect the face seal before every job and replace it at once if torn or worn.
