Fitting and first charge of the quick-charge battery
Slide the battery into the unit the right way up until the catch engages; to remove it, pull back the catch and lift the battery out. A new battery is partly charged: the manual says to run the system flat and charge for 16 h before first use. If the battery LEDs stay red after the unit starts, the battery needs charging.
