Böhler Welding PAPR quick charger for the quick-charge battery Evolution Air, Guardian Air

The PAPR quick charger is the charger for the 87598 heavy-duty 7800 mAh quick-charge battery used in Evolution Air and Guardian Air. The Evolution Air manual makes two points: battery 87598 requires this charger, and the charger is for that battery only.

For users of battery 87598, for example from the Evolution Vision 65F Air Kit and 65FM Air Kit, who want a second charger or replace a damaged one. It works indoors only: 0 to +25 °C and humidity below 65 %.

How to charge with the PAPR quick charger

First connect the plug to the battery, then the charger to the mains. The charger and battery may warm up to 50 °C; if hotter, stop charging. When finished, unplug the charger from the mains first, then disconnect the plug. Do not charge other batteries and do not open the housing; repairs are done by the manufacturer.

Quick or universal charger

The 57081 universal charger charges batteries 57075 (8 to 9 h) and 86660 (4 to 6 h) and works up to +40 °C. The universal charger will not charge battery 87598, and the quick charger will not charge batteries 57075 and 86660.
