Who it is for

For Evolution Air, Guardian Air and Supplied Air users and for safety and service staff. The manuals require checking before every job that the airflow is sufficient.

Key features

  • Ball rotameter: you read the result from the ball position.
  • Measured at the hose connector, with the hose held vertically at eye level.
  • The units sound an alarm when airflow drops below 170 l/min (manufacturer minimum design flow).
  • Works with Evolution Air, Guardian Air and Supplied Air.

How to measure airflow with the airflow tester

Disconnect the hose from the unit, insert the tester into the hose connector and hold the hose vertically at eye level. Switch on the unit. Airflow is sufficient only if the ball reaches the minimum level. If it stays below, charge the battery or change the filter on a PAPR, or check the compressed air source or change the filter on Supplied Air.
